Propane Safety
Propane is a very safe fuel. But as with any energy
source, there are steps you should take to further ensure
your safety.
“I Smell Gas” – If you think you
smell a gas leak, please follow these steps immediately:
- Evacuate everyone from the building.
- Call your local propane provider (link to I.B.
Contact Us) and the fire department from a neighbor's
telephone.
- Turn off the supply at the tank.
